By wheel the Rushford Peterson Valley is located approximately two hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul and a morning’s drive from Chicago, leaving lots of weekend time to spare. The Valley is about 25 minutes from Winona, MN and 45 minutes from both Rochester, MN and La Crosse, WI. From most directions east or west, the easiest way to get to the Valley is to get to I-90 and navigate to US-43 South, Exit 249. From the South, take US-43 North or Hwy. 52 to connect with National Scenic Byway Hwy 16.
Rochester International and La Crosse Regional airports offer easy jet flight connections from Minneapolis/St. Paul, Chicago, Detroit and Phoenix. If you prefer your own jet travel, Rochester, La Crosse and Winona provide airport locations. Rushford Municipal Airport can accommodate most small aircraft.
For those whose preference is train travel, Amtrak station stops are located 30 minutes north in Winona, MN or 45 minutes east in La Crosse. WI.
